Opening
The EASTGATE opened September 29th 2005.
Retail area
approx. 32,000 m² on two levels, with an additional 3,000 m² earmarked for restaurants/cafés and service outlets.
Branch and tenant mix
EASTGATE with its around 150 shops is one of the biggest and most unusual shopping and experience venues in Berlin and anywhere in eastern Germany. The complex offers fashion outlets, one consumer electronics store, one food court, one hypermarket, one supermarket, service outlets and restaurants/cafés.

EASTGATE is centrally located at the junction of the main Märkische Allee and Landsberger Allee transport thoroughfares.

approx. 1,400 parking spaces in the center, 185 bicycle stands, customer information, phone and postal services, hotspot, customer lifts suitable for the disabled, nappy-changing room, kid cars and much, much more.
Center Accessiblity
- By car: convenient access via the six-lane Märkische Allee (B 158) and Landsberger Allee highways as well as the Berliner Ring motorway (A10)
- By public transport: EASTGATE is directly linked to the suburban train station, the bus terminal and tram services.
