ETTLINGER TOR, KARLSRUHE
While the historical facade at Rondellplatz – protected under the law of listed buildings – was integrated in the overall facade of the Ettlinger Tor center, its urban aspects impresses otherwise through the vitreous steel frame and premium architectural composition – a modern extension of Karlsruhe center to the south, which heightens the attraction of the entire downtown. Not to forget the 150 meter long light flooded glass cupola, which awards the shopping center with such a generous and friendly ambience, inviting visitors to stroll around, enjoy and relax between the fountains and plants.
