ATRIUM FRIEDRICHSTRASSE OFFICE BUILDING, BERLIN
Facts and Figures
The Atrium is located on the Friedrichstrasse boulevard – one of Berlin's top addresses. The busy main shopping street is the centerpiece of Berlin's central district and is in the direct vicinity of the government quarter. The Atrium profits from its excellent city centre location and is conveniently situated for access on the junction leading to Leipziger Strasse.
The Atrium is an attractive and extremely functional office building that boasts not only a striking architectural design and high-grade materials but also a varying ambience: during the day, the light-flooded atrium is cool, almost purist – and is then transformed to create a warm and stylish atmosphere in the evening hours. The sophisticated lighting concept creates a wide variety of impressions and effects.
Over a gross floor area of approx. 25,000 m², the complex houses modern office premises ranging in size from 200 m² to several thousand square metres as well as 12 exclusive apartments and around 3,000 m² for centrally situated retail outlets.
The Atrium is a well-known venue for exhibitions, conferences and high-profile political and business events as well as a location for films and the site of fashion shows and photo shoots. The most well-known tenants include Financial Times Deutschland, who have their Berlin office in the Atrium, the New Zealand Embassy, Gaz de France, the New German Länder Industrial Investment Council and the Association of the German Aerospace Industry.
