MILANEO, STUTTGART

Milaneo is being developed in the heart of Baden-Wuerttemberg's state capital - a new, vibrant urban district with a balanced mix of retail, restaurants, offices, hotels and inner city living. At the MIPIM 2013 in Cannes, the project won the prestigious MIPIM Award as “Best Futura Mega Project”. 

Opening

Constuction started in 2012. The shopping center is scheduled to open in fall 2014. The whole development is expected to be fully completed in summer 2015.

Sustainability

The shopping center as well as the complete Milaneo have been honored with a Pre-Certificate in Gold by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). Criterions for the evaluation were, among others, the life cycle assessment, the water and soil protection, energy efficiency, usage of renewable energies, a resource-friendly infrastructure as well as barrier-free accessibility.
