In order to pool the so far gained experiences in the construction and leasing out of major office building projects as well as the know-how gained in the development and realization of goods distribution centers and major train stations and to establish the company's business activities more broadly, an own division was created for the business fields Office, Traffic and Industries in 2007.

ECE's reputation as strong partner was increased with the completion of architecturally outstanding buildings, e.g. the ThyssenKrupp quarter in Essen (2010) and the Weser Towers in Bremen (2010) as well as the development of an industry master plan for highly complex industrial plants such as for Beiersdorf. Due to the increasing publicity, ECE was able to acquire further customer orders and implement many more project developments.

In the Office business area: the office building Alstertor 21 for Hogan Lovells in Hamburg (2007), ECE’s European headquarters in Hamburg (2010), the Alstercampus in Hamburg (2013), the new Philips Germany headquarters in Hamburg (2015), the VBG headquarters (2016) in Hamburg.

In the Industries business field: the Hermes HUBs in Hesse (2008) and Lower Saxony (2010) as well as logistics centers for Bode-Chemie (2006), Kühne+Nagel (2010), Siemens (2014), and Hermes (2016), the goods distribution center Witt Weiden (2008) as well as the congress center Kap Europa in Frankfurt (2014).

In the Traffic branch: BahnhofCity Wien West (2011) and BahnhofCity Wien Central Station (2014) were realized in Vienna/ Austria. ECE already delivered three prime examples for the revitalization of traffic stations and highly frequented properties with the redesign of the train stations in Leipzig, Cologne and Hanover. This successful concept was even further developed in cooperation with Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB). At both sites in the Austrian capital new city quarters were created – for shopping, services, restaurants, hotels, and offices.

Furthermore, ECE was able to expand their portfolio for non-shopping real estate by hotels, e.g. in Berlin (Steigenberger, 2012), Dresden (ibis, 2011) and Vienna (Motel One, 2011 and 2015) as well as the construction of apartments at the Alstercampus (2016) and the new city quarter "Mitte Altona" in Hamburg. For Alexander Otto Sports Foundation, ECE developed and realized the Volksbank Arena in Hamburg. The ice skating rink and ball sports hall completed in 2008 serves as training center for sports clubs, school and leisure sport as well as for the HSV Hamburg handball team. ECE also managed the modernization of the Hamburg Art Museum (2016) which has gained even more popularity since its refurbishment.
