06/21/2012: Tenth ECE Retail Meeting in Hamburg
Gerry Weber, Superdry, and Frooters honored as retailers of the year ++ More than 500 international top decision-makers discuss about changes and trends in retail
At the tenth international ECE Retail Meeting in the Fischauktionshalle, Hamburg, the retailers of the year were honored with the “Retailer Award 2012” on Wednesday (June 20, 2012). The prize for the “Newcomer of the Year” went to the British fashion label Superdry. The German fresh foot format Frooters won in the category “Most Innovative Concept”. The award for “Best Performance” was handed over to the fashion label Gerry Weber from Halle in Westphalia. With the retailer awards, presented for the sixth time this year, special performance in retail is honored. “We are happy to be able to honor outstanding and worthy winners again this year,” said ECE Managing Director Klaus Striebich. At Hamburg’s Retail Meeting more than 500 top decision-makers of national and international trade groups are discussing changes and trends in retail. The ECE Retail Meeting is the sector’s largest event of this kind in Europe.
