05/31/2008: Starting signal for construction of Golden Ring Gallery in Yaroslavl
Yaroslavl’s Mayor Volonchunas and Governor Vakhrukov break ground for the new shopping and entertainment center
Celebration on the former tramway depot on the ulitsa Svobody in Yaroslavl: Mayor Victor Volonchunas, Governor Sergey Vakhrokuv, and Stefan Zeiselmaier, General Manager of ECE Russia, broke the ground for the construction of the Golden Ring Gallery. The shopping and entertainment center will house more than 200 shops, restaurants and a multiplex cinema. The opening of the gallery is scheduled for September 2010, the year of Yaroslavl’s 1,000th anniversary. ECE is investing more than 200 million Euros / 7.5 billion Roubles for the construction of the state-of-the-art gallery, thereby creating more than 2,000 new jobs.
