Retailers of the Year Honored with “Retailer Awards“ / More than 500 International Top Decision Makers from the Retail Industry Meet in Borussia-Park in Mönchengladbach
At the international ECE Retail Meeting 2008, which took place in the Borussia-Park in Mönchengladbach on Thursday (June 19, 2008), retailers of the year have been honored with the „Retailer-Awards 2008“. Held for the sixth time this year, the ECE Retail Meeting has come to be the biggest event of its kind in Europe, bringing together more than 500 top decision makers of national and international trade groups to discuss new opportunities, trends and development potential in the retail industry. Being the European market leader in the shopping center business, ECE boasts a unique expertise in the retail sector, and this is the second time in 2008 that the Retailer Award has been conferred to honor extraordinary achievements in the retail trade, that might also serve as a role model for other providers. The prize has been awarded in the categories ”Newcomer of the Year“, ‘”Most Innovative Concept“ and "Best Performance“, respectively, by a jury of six experts from the fields of research, teaching and retailing.
