ECE Türkiye awarded as Foreign Investor of the Year
Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan hands over award for realization of Espark Shopping Center in Eskişehir
ECE Türkiye has been awarded for the investment of the Espark Shopping Center in Eskişehir. During a gala at the Eskişehir Enterprising Industrials’ & Businessmen’s Association (EGSİAD), Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan handed over the award “Foreign Investor of the Year 2008” to Andreas Hohlmann, General Manager of ECE Türkiye.
“We are proud to receive such an award as a long time shopping center investor and management company in Turkey. Our investments will continue in different cities in the country,” said Andreas Hohlmann. In his speech, Prime Minister Erdogan expressly thanked ECE Group for its investment in Eskişehir.
Espark is the largest shopping center in Eskişehir, a city in Mid-West Anatolia with 700,000 inhabitants. The leasable area of Espark sums up to approx. 45,000 sqm leasing area. The gallery houses more than 140 shops as well as 1,150 parking spaces. The investment volume of the inner-city shopping center amounts to 110 million US-$.
