Opening
The Rhein-Galerie opened on September 29, 2010.

Brand and Tenant Mix
Around 130 new shops, service outlets and restaurants/cafés will complement the existing inner-city retail offer of Ludwigshafen. The welcoming atmosphere of the adjacent urban squares will be continued in the interior of the gallery through an attractive alignment of further open spaces, designed to connect the shopping levels.
Sustainability
The Rhein-Galerie was awarded the certificate in gold by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) for sustainable planning as well as urban integration.
Site / Location
A spectacular, large-scale structure is being built on the Rhine riverside promenade. The building complex is supplemented by an urban quarter designed to create a link to the inner city of Ludwigshafen. This concept includes public squares which will offer attractive dining and entertainment establishments.
