THE DIGITAL MALL OF ECE

The future is today: In view of the ongoing digitalization of the retail sector and the significant changes in customer needs, ECE is pressing ahead with the expansion of its shopping centers into digital omnichannel platforms. By using the Digital Mall, an online product search tool that we developed, products from our retail partners in the shopping centers can be found online for the first time. Consumers can use the website and app of their ECE shopping center at any time and anywhere to find out in real time what is available in the shopping center, reserve the desired products and then buy them in the local store. This is our response to the changing shopping habits of our visitors and the growing need for convenience, as a large number of customers prepare their purchases online and want an online availability check for stationary retail stores.

1. ONLINE PRODUCT SEARCH

The online product search make the availability of the products of the participating dealers in the ECE centers visible online.

2. AVAILABILITY CHECK

Customers have the option of researching on the center website or in the center app whether a desired product is available in the center or not.

3. BUY IN-STORE

Many customers prepare their purchases online and want an online availability check for stationary retail shops. Once the desired product is found, it can be picked up directly in the shop.

4. DELIVERY

Our vision: In future, articles will also be delivered directly from the center to your home. Furthermore, same-day delivery from the center to a desired address in the vicinity will soon be possible. The tests are currently only in the pilot phase, but they already show that deliveries can be made successfully within a few hours when locally available inventories are known and the logistics system is owned by the center.
