ECE sells two Hermes logistics centers to Deka Immobilien

Deka Real Estate International GmbH has contractually secured the acquisition two logistics centers from ECE for its German open WestInvest InterSelect fund. The two logistics properties were fully developed and realized by ECE. They are conveniently located in Kabelsketal, which is situated in the Halle/Leipzig metropolitan area, and in Greven near Münster-Osnabrück Airport. Together the properties boast a leasable area of 24,000 m² on a plot area covering more than 162,000 m². Both logistics centers were completed only this year and have been entirely leased to the logistics service provider Hermes Germany on a long-term lease. Both parties have agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.

Both properties are state-of-the-art in their construction and equipment. They are part of a series of logistics centers that ECE is currently building for Hermes. Moreover, they are based on a prototype developed by ECE which allows for a time-saving and cost-effective construction at the designated locations. The centerpiece of both logistics centers is a high-performance sorting system which can process more than 100,000 packages per day. The packages are delivered and picked up through up to 100 dock doors. The logistics centers will both receive the DGNB gold certificate.

During the transaction, ECE was advised by trûon Rechtsanwälte while Jebens Mensching Rechtsanwälte advised Deka Immobilien. Jones Lang LaSalle arranged the Transaction.
