Dual study program
Business Administration (Center Manager)

As a Center Manager, you will manage a shopping center with up to 200 stores. You will plan marketing measures to position the center and ensure ongoing operations including building management. As a manager, you will lead a team of around 20 employees and be responsible for building a trusting customer relationship with the store tenants. Together with the Leasing Manager and the Asset Manager, you will be part of our interdisciplinary portfolio team and the central point of contact for all matters relating to the center on site.

Your studies:

  • Duration of studies: 3 years (6 semesters)
  • Study: Business Administration (B.Sc.) at the Hamburg School of Business Administration, alternating between 12-week theoretical and practical phases in the shopping centers
  • Placements in various shopping centers throughout Germany
  • After successfully completing your Bachelor's degree and a subsequent trainee program, you will take over the management of a shopping center as a future Center Manager

Your profile:

  • High school diploma or technical diploma
  • Good knowledge of math, German and English
  • Willingness to relocate throughout Germany
  • Interest in marketing and retail
  • Organized, communicative, efficient

Dual study program
in business informatics

As a business IT specialist, you will have in-depth technological knowledge as well as knowledge of the company's operational processes. In this cross-functional role, you will combine your expertise in business administration and project management with applied IT. You will use the possibilities of modern information technology to solve business problems in a targeted manner.

Your studies:

  • Duration of studies: 3.5 years (7 semesters)
  • Study: Business Informatics (B.Sc.) at the Nordakademie Elmshorn, alternating 10-week theoretical and practical phases, possibility of a semester abroad
  • Stations at ECE: IT (mainly), human resources, financial accounting, architecture, leasing, center management and a shopping center in Hamburg

Your profile

  • A-levels or university entrance qualification
  • Passed the Nordakademie selection test
  • Good IT and English skills
  • Interest in IT and business topics
  • Organized, reliable, communicative, team-oriented
