The TIDE, Hamburg's neighborhood development in Hamburg's HafenCity with height modern buildings

Mixed-Use, please!

future-oriented mixed-use concepts

Neighborhood development

Modern apartments, office workplaces and hotels in close proximity to restaurants, shopping and leisure facilities - the future belongs to mixed-use concepts. The planning of urban districts is one of our key areas of expertise. We benefit from our experience in the realization of complex large-scale projects.

Our future-oriented district developments combine the functions of residential, working, shopping and leisure in a unique way and create lively urban centers.

Pioneering mixed-use building ensemble in HafenCity

TIDE Hamburg

At TIDE in Hamburg's eastern HafenCity, we are developing a new, innovative building ensemble with a variety of uses in cooperation with Harmonia Immobilien, the UBS Digital Art Museum and the Hamburg Student Union.

TIDE Hamburg

This includes around 600 attractive rental and owner-occupied apartments in an exceptional location, an international, publicly subsidized student residence with a further 370 or so residential places at affordable rents, a children's daycare center and additional space for commercial and Gastronomy.

In addition to the two exclusive residential towers BEAT and PULSE, the UBS Digital Art Museum will be a particular attraction of the mixed-use project. The museum, which will be the largest museum for digital art in Europe, will bring digitally designed properties and installations by the international artist collective "teamLab" to life.

The project is being built on a site of around 15,000 m² and with a gross floor area of around 85,000 m² in total.

The total investment volume amounts to around 600 million euros.

A vibrant urban quarter in the vertical

Milaneo

With Milaneo in Stuttgart, together with STRABAG Real Estate, we have created a concept that is unique in Germany in the middle of the urban Europaviertel district. Three individual buildings form a vibrant urban quarter with lively squares and alleyways as well as a balanced mix of retail, Gastronomy, inner-city residential, offices and a hotel.

Together with the new city library on Mailänder Platz, Milaneo forms the heart of the new quarter on the site of the former goods station. The central Mailänder Platz complements the ensemble with green spaces, outdoor restaurants and a water area.

A holistic mixed-use quarter

The "Mitte Altona"

Together with partners, we have developed "Mitte Altona" with 1,600 apartments on a former railroad site in Hamburg. The new district is the largest urban development project in the Hanseatic city after HafenCity. In addition to residential buildings with social housing, tenants and owner-occupied apartments, the new district includes a park, neighborhood squares, daycare centers and a school. The "Mitte Altona" is car-reduced and takes into account the special features of inclusion.

Zitat

"With Mitte Altona, Hamburg has gained a new, liveable urban quarter in competent cooperation with ECE, which offers people of all backgrounds and classes an affordable home and, as a showcase project, meets the needs of a diverse and modern urban society."
