Sporting goal achieved at the G3 Shopping Resort Gerasdorf
With the opening of the new sports and outdoor adventure world, ECE Marketplaces has successfully completed the extensive project to further develop the shopping center on the outskirts of Vienna on time.
On an area of 5,000 m² in the center and a further 3,000 m² outside, numerous new retail, product test and experience areas now invite visitors to try out and experience products - including a pump track for bikes, skates and boards, a boulder climbing wall, a trail hiking path, bicycle test tracks and motor skills and play areas for children.

Unique world of sport
The aim of the new sports focus is to create a new point of attraction for the center and to further strengthen its profile in the areas of sports, outdoor and experiences. At the same time, ECE has also expanded the center's range of stores and added a Snipes flagship store as well as new concepts such as "Home of Bike" from Intersport, 11teamsports, Moreboards and iFlow. A G3 Sport concept store dedicated to sports and the outdoors also offers specialist retailers and manufacturers the opportunity to market their brands and products without the need for staff and equipment.
The ECE Progressive Income Growth Fund is investing around 12 million euros in the further development of the center with its approximately 130 stores.

Exciting events & outdoor events
The spectacular opening and the regular sports and outdoor events will profit from the presence of numerous prominent athletes. These include ski star Rainer Schönfelder, European table tennis champions Robert Gardos and Daniel Habesohn and many more.
