ECE Marketplaces has a national company in Qatar. Our company there is independent and manages one of our shopping centers in the country.

City Center Doha, a large shopping and leisure complex in the ECE portfolio, is located in the central West Bay Business District of Doha and is operated in a joint JV partnership with Aamal Company Q.P.S.C.. On five levels, the center accommodates approx. 120,000 m² of leasable space with around 350-370 international and regional stores and service providers. Entertainment is provided by a 14-screen cinema, a Carrefour hypermarket, family-friendly zones and over 38 restaurants. "Soho Square" - a new open-air dining and experience district with restaurants, fountains and art installations - was opened for the 20th anniversary celebrations in 2021. The center is one of the oldest and most visited malls in Qatar with over 12 million visitors a year, excellent transport links (metro station, bus lines, underground parking) and close proximity to hotels and ministries.
