Trainee Center Manager

Successfully managing a shopping center: our trainee program prepares you specifically for this. As a Center Manager, you will manage a shopping center with up to 200 stores. You will plan marketing measures to position the center and ensure ongoing operations, including building management. As a manager, you will lead a team of around 20 employees and build a trusting customer relationship with the store tenants.

Your program:

During the 18-month trainee program, you will be introduced to the diverse responsibilities of a center manager in various shopping centers throughout Germany.
After successfully completing the program and the next phase as a Junior Center Manager, you will take over the management of one of our shopping centers after approx. 18 months.
We will provide you with a trainee apartment on site for your assignments in the centers.
You will receive interdisciplinary training at the Center Management Academy as well as constructive feedback sessions.

Your profile:

completed studies (business administration/ retail/ real estate)
Interest in real estate management and retail
numerate, assertive, team player and goal-oriented
fluent in German and English
willingness to relocate nationwide

Trainee Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will oversee new-build developments and restructuring projects from planning to completion. You will work in an interdisciplinary project team, gradually assuming technical and commercial responsibility from the planning to the construction phase of the project. Our trainee program prepares you specifically for your target position so that you can competently manage our construction projects in the future.

Your program:

Duration of the trainee program: 12 months, followed by Junior Project Manager
Assignments in various departments: Project management (construction and restructuring of shopping centers and new construction of office buildings, apartments, hotels or logistics centers), technical due diligence, design execution (planning phase), development, finance and technical center management
Interdisciplinary training, permanent mentors per assignment and mentor feedback

Your profile:

degree in civil engineering or architecture
first internships and/or working student activities in the real estate industry
independent working style, initiative and persuasiveness
flexible, customer-oriented and strong communicator
fluent in German and English

Trainee Real Estate Management

The "Real Estate Management" trainee program lasts a total of 18 months and comprises three areas: Center Management, Asset Management and Letting (Leasing). In the first 12 months, the trainee spends four months in each of the three areas. They then choose a focus area in which they specialize in the final six months. The aim is to prepare them for a position as Asset Manager, Leasing Manager or Center Manager. During the program, the trainee gains insights into the management of retail properties, cooperation with investors and the development of store letting concepts.

Duration of the trainee program: 18 months as a temporary trainee
Germany-wide assignments in various shopping centers and at the company headquarters
Internship in retail at an ECE store tenant
Interdisciplinary training at the ECE Academy
Ongoing support and feedback sessions
