You can find answers to our most frequently asked questions here! If your question isn’t answered here, please contact our recruiting specialists.
We prefer to receive applications via our online form. If you don’t have the technical capabilities to submit an application online, don’t worry. Please send your application via e-mail to karriere@ece.de.
To ensure that we can forward your application to the right department and process it as quickly as possible, please help us by providing the following information:
After we have received your application, you will receive confirmation of receipt from us. Your application documents will then be reviewed by HR Recruiting and the department you are applying to itself. If we still have unanswered questions, we will conduct an initial telephone or video interview with you.
In the event that both sides are interested, you will be invited to up to two face-to-face interviews so that we can get to know each other personally. You will usually receive feedback from the recruiting specialist responsible for you throughout the application process.
Once we have decided to hire you, we will send you an offer and draw up an employment contract.
If, during the application process, we discover that your profile and our requirements don’t match after all, you will usually receive a rejection letter.
If we decide not to hire you, we will keep your application documents for six months from the date of rejection (as stipulated in applicable data protection laws). After this time, your documents will be deleted.
If you apply for a position in one of our departments at ECE headquarters, your workplace will be in Hamburg. Depending on the position, the job may involve a significant amount of travel.
