DEKA Immobilien appoints ECE to take over management of Neumarkt Galerie Cologne

Deka Immobilien has appointed ECE to take over the management and leasing of Neumarkt Galerie in Cologne. The mandate was awarded as part of a tender process and will commence on January 1, 2027. 

With this new mandate, the two companies are further expanding their successful partnership of more than 20 years. ECE will assume the management of an attractive mixed-use property in a prime city-center location that combines retail, office and medical uses.

Neumarkt Galerie is centrally located in Cologne’s city center, directly on Neumarkt and at the beginning of Schildergasse, one of Germany’s most important shopping streets. The mixed-use property comprises around 36,800 m² of leasable space and, in addition to approximately 40 shops, includes office space and medical facilities, among them PAN Klinik. Key retail tenants include Primark, Thalia and dm.
