ECE Marketplaces expands management team
ECE Marketplaces is reorganizing its Management Board: Jan Lorenz will join the company's management team as a new member effective January 1, 2026. In addition, Robert Heinemann will be changing from ECE Group Services to ECE Marketplaces as Managing Director.
Jan Lorenz will assume the role of Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of ECE Marketplaces and will be responsible for the Corporate Governance & Finance departments. He has held various management positions at ECE for more than 16 years, most recently as Director of Group Controlling and Risk Management.
Robert Heinemann, who has been with the company for 27 years and Managing Director since 2017, will be responsible for the Corporate Services departments as Managing Director of ECE Marketplaces, for which he has already been responsible in ECE Group Services.
The Management Board of ECE Marketplaces will therefore consist of Joanna Fisher as CEO, Robert Heinemann as Managing Director and Jan Lorenz as CFO.

In this context, Arndt Schwerdtfeger, who had been Managing Director Architecture & Construction of ECE Group Services, will also move to ECE Marketplaces and will head the newly created Technical Portfolio & Project Management division, which bundles the company's entire technical expertise in the areas of architecture, construction, technical operations and sustainability, and will also continue to be responsible for ECE's Asian business as Managing Director.
Steffen Eric Friedlein, most recently Managing Director Leasing Services at ECE Marketplaces, will in future focus on strategic tenant and investor relations management as well as the responsibility for major leasing projects, and will also act as Managing Director of ECE International Services.
