ECE takes over residential project development for continuation in Freising near Munich
ECE Work & Live is taking over a residential project development for a total of 118 condominiums with around 10,000 m² of residential space in Freising near Munich and will continue the already started but interrupted developments until completions. The purchase was made from Project Immobilien, which filed for insolvency last year.
The planning stages for the "Anger Quartier" Project have already been completed. With the purchase by ECE, construction, which has been interrupted since fall 2023, will also resume immediately. Completions are scheduled for early 2026. The Investments are not disclosing the purchase price.
"The challenging situation on the real estate market also brings with it a whole range of opportunities, especially for a financially strong and experienced family business like ECE," says Katja Freese, Director Office & Residential at ECE Work & Live. "This also includes the acquisition and continuation of developments that have already been launched, such as this residential development in Freising, which we can quickly bring to a successful conclusion with our capital strength and expertise, thus creating living space that is in high demand, especially in growth regions."
The "Anger Quartier" is located in a good residential area in southern Freising and is within walking distance of the city center of the district and university town as well as the state capital of Munich by local train. The apartments have one to five rooms as well as a terrace, garden, balcony or loggia, are between 46 and 130 m² in size and are spread over a total of five modern, energy-efficient buildings surrounded by green spaces. The buildings will be executed to the Efficiency House 55 standard, and energy will be supplied by the district's own combined heat and power plant operated by Stadtwerke Freising.
