Renovation of Skyline Plaza
Skyline Plaza is currently undergoing a comprehensive transformation and is being purposefully redeveloped with an investment of more than 35 million euros. The basis for this is the “Echoes of Your Life” concept: In Frankfurt’s Europaviertel, office workers, tourists, and residents come together—Skyline Plaza focuses on the diverse needs of the people in the surrounding area. Initial measures have already been implemented: new concepts have opened, existing spaces have been expanded, and the modernization of the center is visibly progressing.

The Project
Through this transformation, we are evolving Skyline Plaza from a traditional shopping center into a modern urban destination. Plans include new offerings in retail, dining, entertainment, sports, and leisure, as well as a comprehensively modernized interior design aimed at creating inspiring and exciting spaces and further enhancing the visitor experience. These measures will enhance the location’s appeal and are expected to have a positive impact on the success of our tenant partners. Completion of the comprehensive transformation is scheduled for September 2027.
New Brands, New Concepts, New Experiences
Skyline Plaza continues to expand its diverse tenant mix. New retail, dining, and entertainment offerings create additional reasons to visit and enhance the location’s appeal. Current highlights include the expansions of MANGO, dm, and New Yorker; the planned opening of Bershka in November 2026; new dining options such as Casa Pesca, Frittenwerk, and Master Köfte; and the new entertainment venue, COOOL! Arena.
Groundbreaking Ceremony for Rooftop Padel Courts
The groundbreaking ceremony at the end of May 2026 marked the start of JPadel Skyline, the new padel destination on the roof of Skyline Plaza. Four padel courts are being built on the Skyline Garden, specifically designed to expand the center’s sports and leisure offerings. The opening is scheduled for April 2027.
Expansion of Skyline Gardens
The Skyline Garden, a popular destination offering views of the Frankfurt skyline, will be further expanded and even more closely integrated with the Center. In addition to the padel courts, additional leisure and recreational amenities are being developed on the approximately 10,000 m² rooftop area. A new express glass elevator will provide a direct connection from the ground floor to the Skyline Garden, improving access to the recreational and dining options there.
Modernization of the Interior Design
As part of the modernization project, the interior design of Skyline Plaza is also being completely redesigned. New ceiling concepts, partially exposed ceiling structures, improved lighting, and light-colored materials create an open and modern atmosphere.
