A new and more intelligent way of thinking about living space – this is our credo in residential construction. Following the design model of the Bauhaus, we are developing efficient and flexible living space solutions in all segments – from subsidized rental apartments to condominiums – that can adapt to people’s current living habits and that are affordable. Even whole city quarters are part of our repertoire.

Development of rental apartments and condominiums
We are responding to the growing demand for affordable housing in major European cities with a wide range of residential concepts that are geared towards the needs of future tenants and owners. Our portfolio ranges from affordable and subsidized residential properties to individual apartments. In this asset class, too, we think about our product from the user's perspective and focus on developing intelligent and affordable floor plans. A type house developed by us makes it possible to manage rising construction costs without sacrificing quality.
Construction, operation and leasing of furnished apartments
People today are much more mobile than ever before. The demand for living space and comfort is very much dependent on the respective living situation. However, the desire to live in central and well-connected locations at affordable rents remains. This is possible, for example, in modern build-to-rent residential developments such as those we operate in Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester in the UK. The building ensembles offer residents the convenience options and flexibility of a hotel combined with the feel-good factor of their own home in a tailor-made all-round carefree package.
Shopping centers as residential locations
As a forward-looking real estate developer, we are constantly reimaging our shopping centers and their functions. Where space was once reserved for ever more cars, the revolution in mobility has created an urgent need for space for apartments. With advantages for both sides: Shopping centers acquire new customers. And the tenants have direct access to stores, doctors’ practices, and fitness studios.
Neighborhood development
Large urban development projects are not only about the development of individual buildings, but they also create a lively neighborhood. Therefore, it is important to us to cleverly mix different segments, such as residential, retail, office, and hotel, as well as to include in this mix community facilities. This requires sustainable transportation concepts, the close involvement of all stakeholders and neighbors – and last but not least an urban area that connects everything and everyone.

OUR ESG CODE
Cornerstones of our ESG Code: We develop real estate with a max. CO2 emission of 20 kg/m², aim to be at least 10% above the legal building standards and strive for a value of 300 kg C02/m² in the reduction of "gray emissions".
German version ESG Code
