The new TIDE mixed-use building ensemble in Hamburg's HafenCity is growing in height: around 600 high-quality owner-occupied and rental apartments are being built in a central premium location between the Elbe and Baakenhafen. Other components of the ensemble include a hall of residence for around 370 students and apprentices as well as the UBS Digital Art Museum. There will also be a daycare center, commercial space and Gastronomy.

In the west of the Italian capital, ECE Work & Live is realizing a new quarter in a park-like location with six buildings and around 149 modern-design condominiums in a joint venture with two local partners. Extras include a residents' lounge, a co-working area as well as outdoor areas with green spaces and play facilities for children, a swimming pool and private fitness areas.

In September 2021, ECE Work & Live acquired a listed property in the heart of Rome that was previously used as an office building, which we are currently converting into a hotel. We have profited from the rapidly growing lean-luxury hotel group Ruby Hotels as the operator. The conversion work for the planned opening in spring 2025 is in full swing.

Together with the omnichannel bookshop Thalia, ECE Work & Live is planning, developing and realizing an innovative commercial and production site in the newly emerging gate.ruhr industrial park in Marl (NRW). The property will consist of several high-quality hall areas and a prestigious multi-storey office building. The building will comply with the energy efficiency house 40 standard. 

To our logistics projects

Thanks to a donation in kind from the Dorit & Alexander Otto Foundation in the height of 15 million euros, the Hamburger Kunsthalle was completely modernized in just 17 months under our project management. We worked closely with the municipal authorities, the Hamburger Kunsthalle and museum experts to modernize the listed building ensemble.

In a prime location between Koelnmesse and Deutz railroad station, the new and fully occupied MesseCity Köln offers an attractive mix of offices, hotels, gastronomy and public spaces. Tenants include Zurich Group Germany, KPMG, Arlanxeo, Motel One, Adina Apartment Hotels and the restaurateurs L'Osteria and The Ash. The "Rossio" office building was purchased by the City of Cologne and will be used by municipal departments following its completions. Our joint venture partner for this major project is STRABAG RE.
