Adigeo Verona Italy

As part of a neighborhood upgrade, ECE and its partners invested around €170 million in the development of Adigeo and set new architectural standards. The fully let center with 130 stores opened in 2017.

ECE and its network have always been involved in the development of new urban marketplaces in future-oriented locations in Europe in order to continuously tap into additional customer and sales potential for expanding tenants - state of the art: around 1.5 million people in Verona's catchment area.  
 
After a construction period of just 18 months, including an extension due to the strong demand for space, around 30,800 m² of sales area was opened. The sustainability of Adigeo is certified with Platinum-Leed. The Italian design received an award from the European Council of Shoppings Centers.
 
Thanks to the variety of over 130 stores in a perfectly coordinated branch mix and first-class atmosphere, Adigeo currently attracts an average of around 24,000 new and returning visitors a day - with a growing dwell time and increasing sales.

Refurbishment

The Playce Berlin Germany

At Potsdamer Platz, ECE and Brookfield Properties have created an urban marketplace by means of a complete repositioning: 90 stores and flagship stores as well as Gastronomy from well-known brands. 

In saturated markets, ECE and its partners benefit from decades of development expertise. The former shopping center "Arkaden" at the famous Potsdamer Platz was completely "rethought" conceptually and structurally - in the context of its historical significance - in order to meet people's requirements for urban marketplaces - today and tomorrow.  


A wide variety of offers from internationally renowned brands in the fields of technology, sports & entertainment, science & beauty, mobility & leisure and gastronomy are located here. Following the removal of the previous shopping street on the upper floor, an impressive two-storey façade with more presentation and space options has been created.  


The new centerpiece of The Playce is culinary: a community market with sustainable products from the region and around the world, modern international restaurant concepts and local tenders - on two levels with a total of 4,400 m².  


Potsdamer Platz in the old and new center of Berlin offers a first-class mix for tourists and Berliners: shopping with office, residential and hotel buildings as well as art and culture. The diverse public transport connections as well as more than 2,100 parking spaces in its own parking garage, around 30,000 office employees in the immediate vicinity and more than 110,000 visitors a day speak for themselves.

Mall Beautification

Galeria Bałtycka Danzig Poland

The multi-award-winning "Baltic Gallery", which only opened in 2007 in Gdansk's traditional shopping district, was given a facelift inside in 2023 to further optimize the quality of stay for visitors.

In the glass-roofed and therefore naturally bright and already friendly-looking shopping streets of the Baltic Gallery, the pleasant atmosphere was further enhanced with state-of-the-art improvements to the artificial lighting and embellishments to lighting fixtures, wall and floor coverings, cladding, sanitary facilities, guidance systems, etc.   


Currently almost 24,000 returning and new visitors - and the trend is rising - from the Gdansk catchment area (approx. 1.2 million inhabitants) with availability of 1,100 parking spaces experience an appreciation that has an additional positive influence on their dwell time and consumer mood - to the benefit of tenant turnover.   


The tenants of Galeria Bałtycka - Gdansk's urban marketplace with the largest prepayment and density of shops/tenders - in turn appreciate this investment in their sales opportunities: Almost 200 stores, 15 restaurants and cafés on a total of approx. 47,100 m² of rental space are 100% leased.
